German artist Scientist is well known for his explorations of all things Soviet and disco alongside Frenchman Fulgeance but goes it alone for this fine new 7" outing. It kicks off with 'Just A Flute Thing' which brings nice classical leads dancing about over fresh broken beats with some squelchy synth work involved too. 'Rega Rega' (Revisited) has a deeper, darker bassline and bigger drop to the beats so will being plenty of energy to the right hip-hop party. Another fine outing from the one they call Scientist.
